Solomon Kedebe and Girmay Girmay Hit and Killed by Vehicle near Lincoln Avenue and Alladin Drive

Anaheim, California (August 25, 2020) – 70-year-old Girmay Girmay, of Anaheim, and 61-year-old Solomon Kedebe has been identified as the two male pedestrians who died following a traffic accident last week on Friday at an intersection in Anaheim.
On August 14, at around 9:00 p.m., officers received a report of a crash involving two pedestrians and a car in the area of Lincoln Avenue and Aladdin Drive.
The accident happened when Kedebe and Girmay were standing on a center divider along Lincoln Avenue near Aladdin Drive, waiting for at least one automobile to pass.
The two men were then struck by silver BMW while trying to cross the street.
The BMW driver remained at the crash site and cooperated with the law.

Both Kedebe, a Los Alamitos resident, and Girmay died in the accident.
The fatal crash remains under an active investigation.
