At Least 1 Killed in Solano County Car Accident on Interstate Highway 80/ Interstate 680 at Cordelia
Solano County, California (January 6, 2019) – At least one person was killed in a multi-car accident in Solano County Saturday night, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The tragic wreck was reported at around 10:53 p.m. Saturday, January 5 on eastbound Interstate Highway 80 near the connector from northbound Interstate Highway 680.
According to the CHP, at least two vehicles were involved in the collision, and it’s unknown what caused the crash.
At least one person was killed in the accident. The name of the victim has not been disclosed pending identification and notification of family.
No other injuries were reported.
The two left eastbound lanes of eastbound Interstate 80 were shut down during the investigation.
The crash caused traffic snarl-up and motorist were urged to avoid eastbound Interstate 80 through Cordelia.
CHP is investigating the crash.
