Smartville, California (June 6, 2019) – At least one person was hurt in a head-on crash involving multiple vehicles in Smartville Thursday afternoon.

The crash was reported at about 2:16 p.m. June 6, at the intersection of Simpson Lane and Hammonton Smartville.

The multi-car accident happened when a blue Ford Ranger pickup truck, a black Nissan Altima sedan, and a third vehicle collided at the intersection for unknown reasons. Due to the collision, the car was almost over the bridge.

A male party was found lying on the roadway following the wreck. The injured parties were attended to by the paramedics. The exact number and the identities of the injured parties have not yet been disclosed to this time.

All the three vehicles were inseparable, and a tow truck was required to drag them away from the scene.

Meanwhile, the accident is still under an active investigation.
