Sheryl Liv ID’d as Woman Killed in Head-On Accident on Highway 4 in Stanislaus County
Sheryl Liv Killed in Stanislaus County Collision on Highway 4 near Dunton Road

Stanislaus County, California (June 2, 2021) – The woman who was killed in a head-on collision on Sunday afternoon in Stanislaus County has been identified as Sheryl R. Liv, 43, of Citrus Heights, according to the CHP.
The wreck happened at around 1:30 p.m. May 30, on Highway 4, just west of Dunton Road, about 10 miles west of Copperopolis.
According to CHP, Liv was driving a 2002 Nissan Maxima west on Highway 4 when, for unknown reasons, she crossed over the yellow lines and collided head-on with an oncoming 2016 Dodge Ram.
Witnesses told officers that the Nissan was weaving back and forth over the yellow lines just before the collision.
Following the collision, the Nissan came to a rest on its passenger side.

Liv was airlifted to Memorial Medical Center, where she was pronounced deceased.
The driver of the Dodge, a 61-year-old Calaveras man, was not injured.
The accident remains under investigation.
