2 People Hospitalized after Newhall Crash on Sierra Highway
Newhall, California (June 2, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a Monday afternoon traffic accident that left two people injured in Newhall.
The accident occurred at about 1:30 p.m., on May 31, in the 23200 block of Sierra Highway in front of the Eternal Valley Memorial Park and Mortuary.
According to the officials, at least two vehicles collided on the highway in unclear circumstances.
Following the collision, one of the vehicles reportedly caught fire.
Two people were injured in the accident and were hospitalized for treatment.
Traffic on the roadway was stopped for an unknown period due to the accident.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
