At Least 1 Injured in Sherman Oaks Accident on Highway 101 near Van Nuys Boulevard
Sherman Oaks, California (April 5, 2021) – At least one person was hurt when two cars collided Sunday morning in Sherman Oaks, the California Highway Patrol said.
The incident was reported at around 11:14 a.m. on westbound Highway 101, just east of Van Nuys Boulevard.
A black Ford Fusion and a black Honda Accord were involved in the crash. One of the cars had its airbags deployed following the impact of the crash.
A party reporting the accident said a male party was lying on the ground in the gore point shaking.
Firefighters responded to the scene to find at least one person with minor injuries. An ambulance was requested to the scene to provide medical aid. It was not clear if the victim was hospitalized.
Authorities are investigating to establish the cause of the collision.
