San Andreas, California (September 19, 2019) – A 35-year-old woman was injured in a suspected hit-and-run collision on Wednesday morning in San Andreas, according to a local news source.

The crash took place on Highway 49 shortly after 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 18.

According to the news source, a 2019 Dodge Ram traveling northbound on Highway 49 drifted across the double yellow lines to pass a 2016 Acura. As the driver noticed the oncoming traffic, he swerved back and collided with the Acura.

Sheanna Casillas Injured in San Andreas Hit-And-Run Crash

The driver of the Acura, identified as Sheanna Casillas, 35, of Valley Springs, was attended to by the responding paramedics. It’s unclear whether the victim was transported to a hospital.

The driver of the Ram allegedly fled the scene after the incident but was later located and arrested on suspicion of hit-and-run.

The CHP is investigating the crash.
