Shasta County, California (February 13, 2019) – One hospitalized after a motorcycle collision Tuesday evening in Shasta County, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The collision happened at around 5:12 p.m. Tuesday, February 12, on 5 Freeway, north of Gilman Street.
For unknown reasons, four vehicles including a motorcycle crashed, according to the report. The vehicles were blocking the lanes 1 and 2 following the accident.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The number of victims and their current condition was not immediately known.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
No additional information concerning this incident was provided.
An investigation is underway.
