Several Injured in Lewiston Car Accident on Highway 299(Eureka Way)
Shasta County, California (December 14, 2019) – Several people were injured early Friday morning in a traffic accident in the Lewiston area, according to a local news source.
The wreck happened at around 1:11 a.m. on Highway 299, also known as Eureka Way.
As per the report, a blue Subaru WRX collided with a silver Honda on Highway 299. The force of the impact caused one of the involved vehicles to roll over and went over the side of a cliff approximately 150 to 300 feet.
Several Hurt in Car Accident on Eureka Way in Shasta County
Paramedics responded to the scene and rendered aid to the injured parties. One patient sustained major injuries while another suffered a minor hand injury and had complaints of chest pain.
The names and conditions of the injured parties at this time were not disclosed.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
