Shadrach Diaz Among 5 Utah Teens Injured in Anaheim Car Crash on Manchester Avenue and Orangewood Avenue
Anaheim, California (July 29, 2019) – One of the Utah teens who were injured in a suspected DUI collision late Friday night in Anaheim has been identified as Shadrach Diaz, according to a local news source.
The wreck happened at about 11:45 p.m. July 26, on Manchester Avenue and Orangewood Avenue.
Police said a man was driving a black 2014 Dodge sedan southbound on Manchester Avenue when he ran a red light at the intersection and crashed into a black 2019 Honda Fit heading east on Orangewood Avenue.
The impact pushed both vehicles of the side of the roadway and into a utility pole.

Diaz was among five teens from Utah who were riding in the Honda at the time of the collision. All occupants of the Honda were taken to a hospital with major injuries.
Diaz was hospitalized with multiple fractures including his ribs and trachea, a puncture in his kidney, and internal bleeding.
The driver of the Dodge was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
The crash is under investigation.
