At Least 1 Severely Injured in Selma Car Crash on Highway 99 near 2nd Street
Selma, California (March 20, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a major multi-vehicle crash that left at least one party with severe injuries on Wednesday morning in Selma.
The crash happened at around 5:55 a.m. March 18, on Highway 99, near 2nd Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Officials said that a blue Honda CRV and two other vehicles crashed for reasons yet to be determined. It was reported that one person seemed to have been ejected from one of the cars following the impact.
Major Multi-Car Accident on Highway 99
Responding emergency crews along with medical personnel rendered aid to at least one person who sustained critical injuries due to the collision. The name of the injured party and their current condition were not immediately released.
The vehicles were towed away from the scene.
No other details were released.
The incident remains under investigation.
