1 Hospitalized after Selma Car Accident on Highway 99 near Mountain View Avenue and Second Street
Selma, California (June 13, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a Friday morning multi-car crash that left one person suffering from moderate injuries in Selma.
The crash happened at about 8:00 a.m., on June 12, on northbound Highway 99 between Mountain View Avenue and Second Street.
As per the police report, several vehicles collided in a chain reaction on the highway in an area of construction. As many as eighteen vehicles were involved in the mishap.

One person sustained moderate injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
The police did not suspect drugs or alcohol to have played a role in the accident.
Traffic was backed up for approximately three miles following the collision. At about noon, traffic had cleared.
