Sean Blue Killed in Motorcycle Accident on Faraday Avenue in Carlsbad
Sean Blue ID’d as Motorcyclist Killed in Carlsbad Crash on Faraday Avenue near Palmer Way
Carlsbad, California (December 16, 2020) – The motorcyclist who died in a traffic accident Friday afternoon in Carlsbad has been identified as Sean Douglas Blue, 29, of Encinitas.
The fatal crash took place at about 3:15 p.m. Friday, December 4, on Faraday Avenue, just east of Palmer Way.
Authorities said Blue was riding a Kawasaki motorcycle on Faraday Avenue when he lost control of the bike and slide across the intersection.
The bike then slammed into the northwest curb of the intersection and veered off the roadway.
Fatal Carlsbad Motorcycle Crash on Faraday Avenue
Blue was pronounced dead at the scene.
The mishap resulted in Faraday Avenue’s closure between Palmer Way and Orion Street as investigation and clean-up took place.
The Carlsbad Police is investigating the crash.
