1 Hospitalized after Santa Ysabel Motorcycle Accident on Highway 78
Santa Ysabel, California (September 23, 2020) – One person was airlifted to the hospital after a motorcycle collided with a pickup truck Wednesday afternoon in Santa Ysabel, the California Highway Patrol said.
The crash happened at about 12:02 p.m. in the 4928 block of Highway 78.
The pickup was blocking traffic lanes after the crash.

One person was seriously injured in the accident. An ambulance responded to the scene, and paramedics were giving CPR to the victim while waiting for an air ambulance to land and airlift the patient to the hospital.
Deputies on the scene shut down the highway for the rescue operation.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
