Santa Rosa, California (November 3, 2019) – A major injury crash occurred late Saturday night on a highway in Santa Rosa, the authorities said.

The accident happened at about 11:34 p.m. on northbound Highway 101, just south of Steele Lane off-ramp.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision involved four vehicles of unknown make and model.

Authorities confirmed that major injuries were sustained in the crash. The number of the victims was not mentioned. An ambulance responded to the scene to transport the victims to the hospital.

Towing services were required to remove the vehicles from the scene.

CHP is investigating the collision.
