Rider Injured in Santa Rosa Collision on Highway 101 near River Road Off-Ramp

Santa Rosa, California (May 16, 2021) – A motorcyclist suffered major injuries after colliding with a car early Sunday morning on a highway in Santa Rosa, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident was reported just after midnight on southbound Highway 101, just south of River Road off-ramp.
As per the report, a sports motorbike collided with a silver Audi SUV under unclear circumstances.
The motorcyclist fell off the bike due to the impact.
First responders found the rider conscious and breathing but with serious injuries. The patient was taken to the hospital in an unknown condition. The driver of the Audi declined medical attention.
CHP is investigating to establish the cause of the collision.
