Minor Injuries Sustained in Santa Monica Crash on 10 Freeway near 11th Street
Santa Monica, California (May 15, 2021) – Minor injuries were sustained in a rollover car collision that happened Saturday morning in Santa Monica, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The wreck took place at around 11:26 a.m. on westbound 10 Freeway, just west of 11th Street.
A Toyota Sequoia and a Honda CRV were involved in the collision.
The report said, for unknown reasons, one of the vehicles lost control and crashed into the other.
The Honda CRV overturned after the impact, blocking the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes.
Firefighters responded to the scene and closed the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes.
An unknown number of parties suffered minor injuries in the crash. An ambulance was requested to the scene to offer the victims medical aid.
Both vehicles were towed away from the collision scene.
All lanes were reopened after about an hour.
CHP is investigating the accident.
