Fatality Reported after Highway 17 Crash near Summit in Santa Cruz Mountains
Santa Cruz Mountains, California (February 14, 2019) – Authorities are investigating a deadly multi-vehicle collision that occurred Thursday afternoon in the Santa Cruz Mountains, a local news source reported.
The deadly wreck was reported just before 3:00 p.m. on Highway 17.
As per the report, at least three vehicles were involved in the collision.
The fatality was reported following the wreck.
Northbound Highway 17 was closed as emergency crews worked to clear the scene.
No additional information regarding the crash was immediately provided. The accident remains under investigation.
