Lake Forest, CA: 2-Car Crash on 5 Freeway and Camino De Estrella
1 Hospitalized after Lake Forest Accident on 5 Freeway near Camino De Estrella
Lake Forest, California (February 14, 2019) – One person was hospitalized after a two-vehicle collision Thursday morning in the area of Lake Forest, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision happened at around 7:07 a.m. Thursday, on southbound 5 Freeway, just south of Camino De Estrella.
As per the CHP officials, a white Kia Forte and a white Ford pickup truck crashed for unknown reasons.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. One person was transported to Mission Hospital Regional Center for treatment of minor injuries. The patient’s name and current condition were not immediately released.
The Kia sustained front-end damage following the collision.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
No additional details concerning this incident were provided.
An investigation is underway.
