Santa Cruz Accident at 17th Avenue and Rodriguez Street Results in Serious Injuries
Santa Cruz, California (January 30, 2021) – A pedestrian accident that took place at an intersection in Santa Cruz Friday afternoon seriously injured a female party.
The major injury crash was reported shortly before 4:30 p.m. in the area of 17th Avenue and Rodriguez Street.
As per the California Highway Patrol report, the woman was hit by a white truck, driven by a male party, while walking with her dog at the Santa Cruz intersection.
The truck driver told officials he didn’t see the pedestrian before striking her.

The unidentified female party was hospitalized at Natividad Medical Center for treatment major injuries sustained in the wreck.
Meanwhile, the crash resulted in the intersection closure for an hour and half as investigation and clean-up took place.
The accident remains under investigation.
