Santa Cruz Accident on Highway 1 near Shaffer Road Kills One Victim
Santa Cruz, California (December 23, 2020) – An alleged hit-and-run pedestrian accident that happened on a highway in Santa Cruz Monday night left a 47-year-old male party dead.
The California Highway Patrol responded to the deadly crash site at about 11:30 p.m., on December 21, on Highway 1
A black 2002 GMC Yukon struck the Santa Cruz man while walking along the highway under unclear circumstances.
Meanwhile, the GMC Yukon operator did not stop to render aid and fled the scene on foot.

Sadly, the pedestrian died in the wreck.
