Santa Clarita Valley, California (January 8, 2021) – Several vehicles collided Friday afternoon in Santa Clarita Valley, according to a local news source.
At around 3:30 p.m., authorities received a report about the accident on northbound Interstate 5 near the Highway 126 junction.
According to the California Highway Patrol, five vehicles collided for unknown reasons in the northbound lane of Interstate 5. One of the vehicles, a big rig, flipped over after the collision.

Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene to treat anyone who was injured in the crash.
At around 3:42 p.m., a SigAlert was issued for the closure of the freeway on the eastbound side of Highway 126 to the northbound side of Interstate 5.
