1 Killed in Santa Clarita Car Crash on Highway 14 near Sierra Highway
Newhall, California (January 23, 2020) – A teenager died in a collision involving a parked big rig on Highway 14 in Santa Clarita early Thursday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the tragic collision happened on Highway 14 near Sierra Highway at about 1:04 a.m.
The authorities said a 19-year-old was driving a white Honda sedan when he crashed into the rear of a parked Volvo big rig.
Fatal Crash Reported on Highway 14 in Santa Clarita
The teenager, identified only as a Santa Ana resident, was killed in the accident.
No other information about the crash was provided.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the accident.
