Santa Clarita, California (June 30, 2021) – A Santa Clarita crash involving two vehicles Sunday evening sent two people to the hospital, a local news source reported.

The DUI traffic collision happened on Railroad Avenue, just south of Drayton Street, at approximately 9:45 p.m. on June 27.

As per the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station report, two unspecified vehicles crashed on the highway for reasons still under investigation.

The crash left two unidentified people with unspecified injuries. The two victims were attended to by paramedics before being rushed to a local hospital for further medical aid.

One of the drivers, a 16-year-old girl, was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol at the time of the collision. She was later arrested on suspicion of DUI.

The accident remains under an active investigation.
