One Person Injured in Santa Clarita Crash on Newhall Ranch Road near Golden State Freeway
Santa Clarita, California (March 13, 2021) – One person was injured in a Friday evening big rig accident in Santa Clarita, authorities said.
The accident occurred at about 7:50 p.m., on March 12, on Newhall Ranch Road over the Golden State (5) Freeway.
According to the California Highway Patrol, an SUV crashed into the side of a big rig on the roadway for undetermined reasons.
Following the collision, the SUV was stuck, partially under the big rig.

One person was trapped in the SUV and was extricated by the first responders. The patient was taken to a trauma center in an unknown condition.
