Teen Killed in Santa Clara Pedestrian Accident at Lafayette Street and Agnew Road

Santa Clara, California (February 18, 2020) – A 15-year-old boy was struck and killed by a vehicle while attempting to cross an intersection in Santa Clara on Sunday evening, according to the authorities.

The incident happened at around 9:20 p.m. February 16, on Lafayette Street and Agnew Road.

According to Santa Clara police, the boy was attempting to cross the street against a red light when a black Honda Accord traveling southbound on Lafayette Street struck him.

Teenager Dies in Santa Clara Pedestrian Collision

The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. He was only identified as a 15-year-old Santa Clara boy.

The driver of the Honda remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.

The Santa Clara Police Department is investigating the crash.
