Lourdes Oseguera Arrested After DUI Hit-and-Run Accident on Capra Drive in American Canyon

American Canyon, California (February 18, 2020) – A male pedestrian was struck and injured by an alleged DUI hit-and-run motorist late on Saturday night in American Canyon.
The pedestrian crash was reported at about 11:55 p.m. on February 15 in the 600 block of Capra Drive.
As per the police report, a male party was placing a child into the back seat of a parked car on the highway when In the process, a passing car operated by 38-year-old Lourdes Yveth Oseguera clipped him.
Oseguera, an American Canyon resident, did not stop to render aid and fled the scene.
The initial report showed that Oseguera was under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs at the time of the collision.
Pedestrian Injured in American Canyon Hit-and-Run Accident on Capra Drive
The pedestrian sustained minor leg injury following the crash. The unidentified male party was attended to by medical personnel who responded to the scene shortly after the mishap.
Detectives later located Oseguera and booked her into the Napa County jail on suspicion of causing injury by DUI, leaving the scene of an injury accident, and child endangerment.
The investigation is underway.
