Major Injuries Sustained in Highway 55 Car Crash near 17th Street in Santa Ana
Santa Ana, California (July 23, 2019) – Authorities are investigating a multi-vehicle accident that happened Tuesday afternoon in Santa Ana resulting in major injuries.
The crash took place at about 5:26 p.m. on northbound Highway 55, just south of 17th Street.
CHP said a silver Chevrolet, a black Mercedes Benz E300 and one other vehicle collided for unknown reasons. The cause and manner of the collision remained unknown.
At least one person sustained major injuries in the accident. An ambulance responded to the scene to offer medical aid and transport the victim to a hospital.
CHP is investigating the incident.
