Santa Ana, California (March 24, 2020) – Two pedestrians were hospitalized after being struck by a car in the area of Santa Ana Monday night, according to a California Highway Patrol report.

The collision took place on March 23 at Flower and First streets in Orange County.

As per the CHP report, the two pedestrians were struck by a black Chevrolet Camaro while they were crossing the roadway at approximately 11:30 p.m.

The initial report indicated that one of the involved victims was possibly riding a bicycle at the time of the collision.

2 Injured in Santa Ana Pedestrian Crash at Flower Street and First Street

The two pedestrians, a man and a woman, sustained life-threatening injuries in the wreck. Both patients were taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, the Chevrolet motorist remained at the scene and cooperated with the law.

Neither drugs nor alcohol were suspected factors in the accident. An investigation into the crash is underway.
