Sanger, California (May 8, 2021) – One person was hospitalized Friday morning following a head-on collision in Sanger, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The crash happened at around 6:00 a.m. Friday, May 7, on North Avenue near De Wolf Avenue.
As per the CHP report, a Chevy Camaro was traveling westbound on North Avenue when it collided head-on with a pickup truck that was heading eastbound.
A passenger in the pick-up truck sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital. The name and condition of the victim were not disclosed.
The driver of the Chevy remained at the scene after the crash. According to the CHP report, the driver told the authorities that the brakes failed before the Chevy skidded into the opposite lane.
No further details about the crash were immediately provided.
