55-Year-Old Man Killed San Luis Obispo Pedestrian Crash on Highway 101 near Madonna Road
San Luis Obispo, California (October 15, 2020) – A 55-year-old man from Los Osos was hit and killed by a vehicle on Thursday morning in San Luis Obispo, authorities said.
The deadly pedestrian accident transpired at about 4:40 a.m. in the highway’s southbound lanes, just south of Madonna Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the man was running across the highway from the center divider when a vehicle, driven by a 49-year-old woman from San Luis Obispo, struck him.

Sadly, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
