Steve Marin and Angel Rodriguez Injured in Car Crash at Kansas Avenue and 16th Avenue near Stratford
Fresno, California (May 19, 2020) –A San Jose man was killed in a head-on collision in Fresno on Tuesday morning, the California Highway Patrol said.
The collision happened at about 5:30 a.m. May 19, at Kansas Avenue and 16th Avenue near Stratford.
24-year-old Steve Marin of Porterville was driving an SUV when he allegedly fell asleep behind the wheel and collided head-on with a pickup truck driven by 55-year-old Angel Rodriguez of Lemoore
Passenger Killed, 2 Drivers Critically Injured in Crash at Kansas and 16th Ave
A 32-year-old passenger in the SUV was killed in the accident. The identity of the victim was not immediately disclosed.
Marin and Rodriguez were seriously injured in the accident and were transported to the hospital for treatment.
Drugs and alcohol did not appear to be factors in the accident.
