Martha Guzman Killed in 2-Vehicle Crash on Hatch Road in Ceres
Martha Guzman ID’d as Driver Killed in Ceres Truck Accident on Hatch Road near Central Avenue

Ceres, California (May 18, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a Monday morning truck accident that killed a Modesto woman and left a driver injured in Ceres.
The deadly crash occurred on Hatch Road near Central Avenue, at around 6:30 a.m., on May 18.
A red sedan, driven by Martha Guzman, was traveling eastbound on Hatch Road. It veered across the center divider into the pathway of an oncoming white pickup truck that was heading westbound on the roadway, according to the officials.
The pickup truck reportedly struck the passenger’s side of the sedan.
Guzman sustained fatal injuries from the crash.
An 18-year-old pickup truck driver from Modesto was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries. His passenger was not hurt.
Intoxication was not believed to have contributed to the accident.
