Motorcyclist Injured in San Jose Motorcycle Accident on Highway 101 and Brokaw Road

San Jose, California (September 6, 2019) – A motorcyclist was hospitalized after a traffic crash Thursday morning in the area of San Jose, according to authorities.
The crash was reported at around 8:27 a.m. Thursday, September 5, on the northbound side of Highway 101 near the Brokaw Road off-ramp.
As per the CHP officials, a yellow Yamaha motorcycle and a gray Ford Mustang crashed for reasons still under investigation.

Fire officials along with medical personnel responded to the scene to attend to the motorcyclist. The rider suffered possible minor to severe injuries due to the crash.
The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The name of the patient and their current condition were not immediately released.
The Mustang was reportedly in the median after the crash.
Authorities blocked lane 1 and 2 following the crash. The roadway was re-opened at about 9:08 a.m.
No additional information concerning this crash was provided.
