Man Killed in San Jose Pedestrian Accident on Bascom Avenue near San Carlos Street

San Jose, California (January 4, 2019) – A man died on Thursday from injuries he sustained after a pedestrian accident on Sunday night, according to a local news source.
The accident happened at around 8:05 p.m. Sunday, December 30, on Bascom Avenue near West San Carlos Street.
As per the report, a 55-year-old man was walking on Bascom Avenue when a 2003 southbound Honda Civic struck him.
Emergency crews along with paramedics responded to the scene and rushed the victim to the hospital where he died on Thursday. The victim’s name was not immediately released.
Authorities said that the 36-year-old man driving the Honda stopped at the scene and cooperated officials.
An investigation is underway.
