One Hospitalized after San Jose Train Crash on North First and Rosemary Streets

San Jose, California (June 26, 2019) – One person was hospitalized after a collision with a Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority light-rail train on Wednesday afternoon in San Jose, according to a local news source.
The collision happened at about 12:20 p.m. on North First and Rosemary Streets.
Authorities said a northbound train collided with a white Ford. It’s unclear what led up to the crash.

Firefighters and paramedics responded to the incident. Medics checked on the driver of the Ford, who was outside the vehicle. The driver was taken to a hospital for treatment.
No other injuries were reported.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
