San Jose, California (April 11, 2019) – One person was hospitalized after a motorcycle collision Wednesday afternoon in the area of San Jose, according to a California Highway Patrol report.

The accident happened at around 4:20 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, on southbound 280 Freeway, just south of Highway 87.

As per the report, a van hit a motorcycle and the motorcyclist crashed into a Hyundai. The rider was lying in the roadway following the crash.

An ambulance was sent to attend to at least one person who complained of pain as a result of the crash. The patient was transported to the Regional Medical Center in San Jose.

The victim’s name and their current condition were not immediately known.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.

The vehicles were blocking lane 1 following the crash.
