San Francisco, CA: Pedestrians Struck and Killed by Hit-And-Run Driver on Second and Mission Streets
San Francisco Hit-And-Run Suspect on Second and Mission Streets ID’d as Troy McAlister

San Francisco, California (January 1, 2021) – The hit-and-run suspect who struck and killed a pedestrian at an intersection in San Francisco Thursday afternoon has been identified as 45-year-old Troy McAlister.
The fatal pedestrian accident was reported just before 4:00 p.m. in the area of Second and Mission streets.
A stolen vehicle driven by McAlister reportedly ran a red light before striking two women in the South of Market neighborhood on December 31.
McAlister, who was intoxicated and was on parole, did not stop to render aid to the victims and escaped the crash site on foot.
Troy McAlister Arrested Following Fatal San Francisco Pedestrian Accident
One of the pedestrians was declared dead at the scene, while the other died at the hospital where she was admitted after the wreck.
Police later arrested McAlister on suspicion of voluntary manslaughter.
The accident remains under investigation by the San Francisco Police Department.
