Motorcyclist Killed in Collision at Bear Mountain Road and Hidden Valley Drive in Redding
Jones Valley, California (January 2, 2021) – One person was killed in a motorcycle accident that happened in Jones Valley near Redding in Shasta County on Thursday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal collision happened in the area of Bear Mountain Road and Hidden Valley Drive just before midnight.
The authorities said a man was riding a motorcycle southbound on Bear Mountain when he ran off the road. The rider was ejected from the motorcycle.
The rider died at the scene of the accident.
The authorities said the rider was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
