San Francisco, California (November 1, 2019) – At least one person was hurt in a two-vehicle collision that took place Thursday afternoon in San Francisco, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The accident involved a white Chevrolet Silverado and a black Ford SUV and occurred at about 4:56 p.m. on northbound Highway 101, just south of San Bruno Avenue on-ramp.

The SUV rear-ended the truck for unknown reasons.

One of the drivers was unable to move their vehicle after the crash due to back pain. An ambulance responded to the scene to provide medical aid to the victim. It was not clear if the patient was hospitalized.

The pickup truck was towed away with minor rear-end damage.

CHP is investigating the crash.
