San Francisco, California (June 17, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the circumstances that led to an alleged hit-and-run pedestrian collision that happened in San Francisco Wednesday morning.
The traffic collision was reported at approximately 5:15 a.m. on Highway 101 at Cesar Chavez Street.
An individual was reportedly struck by possibly a Dodge Camaro or dark-colored Dodge Charger whose driver fled the scene after the crash.

The pedestrian sustained unspecified injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, the crash resulted in the closure of the on-ramp to northbound Highway 101 for an unknown time.
