Major Injuries Sustained in Highway 101 Motorcycle Crash near San Bruno Avenue Off-Ramp in San Francisco

San Francisco, California (February 7, 2020) – Authorities said major injuries were sustained in a motorcycle accident that happened Thursday afternoon on Highway 101 in San Francisco.
The California Highway Patrol said the crash happened at about 3:40 p.m. in the northbound lanes at San Bruno Avenue off-ramp.
A red motorcycle and a car collided for unknown reasons.
Emergency crews said major injuries were sustained in the accident. The number of those injured was not mentioned.
The Nos. 4, 5, and 6 lanes of the highway were shut down following the accident.
CHP is investigating the cause of the collision.
