San Francisco, CA: Car Crash on Highway 101 and 80 Freeway
At Least 1 Injured in San Francisco Accident on Highway 101 and 80 Freeway
San Francisco, California (February 7, 2019) – At least one person was injured after a two-car collision Wednesday night in the area of San Francisco, according to authorities.
The collision happened at around 8:58 p.m. Wednesday, February 6, on southbound Highway 101, just north of 80 Freeway on-ramp.
As per the officials, two vehicles crashed for reasons still under investigation. The vehicles were blocking the on-ramp following the crash.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to at least one person who complained of pain as a result of the collision. The name of the victim and their current condition was not immediately known.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
The roadway was clear as of 9:43 p.m.
No additional information concerning this incident was provided.
An investigation is underway.
