Minor Injuries Reported after San Diego Crash on Highway 163 and 805 Freeway
San Diego, California (February 21, 2019) – Minor injuries were reported after a multi-vehicle collision Thursday afternoon in the area of San Diego, according to authorities.
The collision happened at around 4:32 p.m. Thursday, on Highway 163 and 805 Freeway.
As per the officials, the driver of a blue vehicle struck about five to six vehicles for reasons still under investigation. It remains unclear if the motorist had a medical emergency prior to the crash.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. One person was transported to Sharp Memorial Hospital in San Diego for treatment of minor injuries. The patients’ names and their current condition were not immediately known.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
No additional information concerning this incident was provided.
