San Diego, CA: Pedestrian Struck and Seriously Hurt by Big Rig Hits on Downtown Street
San Diego Pedestrian Accident on B Street Mid-Block near 11th Avenue Results in Serious Injuries
San Diego, California (December 16, 2020) – Serious injuries were sustained in a pedestrian accident that happened Tuesday morning in San Diego, the San Diego police reported.
The major injury crash took place shortly after 9:00 a.m. on B Street mid-block near 11th Avenue.
As per the dispatch, a tractor-trailer struck an individual on a downtown thoroughfare while attempting to cross the street.
Due to the impact, the pedestrian was thrown into the ground, and one of the truck’s rear tires rolled over him.
The initial report showed that the male party walked into the path of the truck.
Major Injury San Diego Pedestrian Accident Tuesday Morning
Medical personnel rushed the victim to an area hospital for treatment of major injuries.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
