Elderly Man Hospitalized after Mission Valley Train Crash near Hazard Center Drive
San Diego, California (February 19, 2019) – A man was struck and injured by a Trolley Train on late Sunday night in Mission Valley, according to the San Diego Police Department.
The crash happened near the Hazard Center station in the 7600 block of Hazard Center Drive on Sunday, February 18.
Police said the elderly man was walking along the path of the trolley tracks and appeared to be struggling with adjusting his umbrella when a train hit him.
The man was transported to a hospital with a head injury. No details were provided on the extent of the victim’s injuries.
The crash is under investigation.
