23-Year-Old Ramona Woman Injured in San Diego Crash on Highland Valley Road near Adrienne Way

San Diego, California (January 5, 2019) – A 23-year-old Ramona woman was injured Friday afternoon in a traffic accident in San Diego, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The crash happened at around 2:28 p.m. Friday, January 4 on Highland Valley Road near Adrienne Way.
The CHP said the woman was driving a silver Toyota RAV4 westbound on Highland Valley Road when she drove the Toyota off the north road edge of Highland Valley.
According to the CHP, the manoeuvre caused the woman to lose control of the Toyota, which headed into the eastbound lane of Highland Valley and collided head-on with a Class A 40-foot motorhome operated by a 63-year-old Ramona man.
The force of the impact caused the Toyota to roll over.
The woman was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. The man was uninjured.
Alcohol and or drugs use were not suspected factors in the crash. The crash remains under investigation.
