San Diego, CA: Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Traffic Crash on Highway 163
Rider Seriously Hurt in San Diego Motorcycle Crash on Highway 163 near Balboa Avenue Off-Ramp

San Diego, California (November 23, 2020) – Authorities said a motorcyclist was seriously hurt in a crash with a car Monday afternoon on Highway 163 in San Diego.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident took place at about 1:49 p.m. in the southbound lanes at the Balboa Avenue off-ramp.
Reportedly, a black sedan that was traveling at a high rate of speed cut across all lanes and crashed into a motorcycle.
The motorcyclist ended up on the side of the roadway and was not moving.
The car was blocking the roadway after the crash.
A Good Samaritan was attending to the injured rider before emergency crews responded to the scene.
Paramedics transported the seriously injured motorcyclist to the hospital.
The sedan acquired major front-end damage.
CHP is investigating the cause of the collision.
