San Diego, CA: Man, 60, Hospitalized after San Diego Pedestrian Accident on Rosecrans Street and Laning Road

San Diego, California (October 2, 2019) – 60-year-old male party was hospitalized after being hit by a vehicle on Tuesday evening near Liberty Station, according to the San Diego Police Department.

The crash took place at about 5:17 p.m. October 1, near Rosecrans Street and Laning Road.

Police said a man was trying to cross the street in a crosswalk when a 2019 Ford Fusion driven by a 55-year-old male driver made a left turn and struck him.

Man, 60, Seriously Hurt in San Diego Pedestrian Crash

The victim was rushed to a hospital with critical injuries. His identity was not immediately released.

The driver of the involved car stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.

The San Diego Police Department is investigating the incident.
