Man Killed in Fatal San Diego Train Crash on Washington Street and Hancock Street
San Diego, California (March 23, 2019) – A man was hit and killed by a train on Thursday night in San Diego County, as per a local news source.
The crash was reported at about 10:35 p.m. March 21, near the intersection of Washington Street and Hancock Street.
Man Fatally Hit by Train in San Diego
Police said a man was struck by an Amtrak train that was going 46 miles per hour after he walked into the tracks.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
None of the passengers on the train was injured.
The crash is under investigation.
